Chinese Open Source technology community OSCHINA raised strategic investment from Baidu. The amount of the investment was undisclosed. The investment will be used to recruit more os talents, beef up technology R&D, and upgrade infrastructure.
Established in 2008, OSCHINA is committed to advancing the application and development of China’s os technolgy. Gitee pools togher China’s os projects. Nearly 4 million developers have entrusted more than 6 million code repositories on Gitee with over 300 billion lines of code entrusted. The company edition of Gitee support enterprises with R&D management and coordination. It has over 100,000 company clients.
