The 2019 global innovation index (GII) was released Thursday in new Delhi, capital of India. China has been on the rise for the fourth consecutive year, ranking 14th, raised three places from last year.
According to the new index, the top 10 are Switzerland, Sweden, the United States, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Finland, Denmark, Singapore, Germany and Israel. China was ranked 14th, raised three places from 17th last year. India ranked 52nd, raised five places from 57th last year and the highest among south Asian countries.
