Knowledge Economy Development in Asia Pacific Region 2019 Released : Shanghai Ranks the 5th While Beijing Ranks the 7th

Shanghai Jiaotong University released 2019 Asia Pacific Knowledge Competitiveness Index in the afternoon of November 14th. Singapore, Soul, and Tokyo continues to top the list as with last year. Shanghai ranks the 5th, the first among Chinese cities. Five Chinese cities make it into the Top 10, they are : Shanghai, Beijing, Hongkong. Jiangsu, and Taiwan. Jiangsu jumps from the 18th to the 9th, marking its first entry into top 10.
