South Africa-based solar energy business, Granville Energy

With the goal to provide clean and sustainable power to a billion Africans by 2050, the South Africa-based solar energy business, Granville Energy is on its way to making this happen one installation at a time.

As a solar-based, energy tech company that is committed to bringing people the best energy experience possible, Co-Founder of Granville Energy, Tabi T. Tabi, explains that the business believes profoundly in providing accessible, affordable, safe, and sustainable power to all.

“We pride ourselves in our ability to apply critical thinking to solving challenges. It is with this simple approach that we provide solutions that not only guarantee the quality of equipment and installation, but also gives our customers access to a host of essential post-installation services.”

By utilising the latest technology to implement solutions for both residential and commercial use, Granville strives to lead the movement towards life defining times where the generation of energy can be decentralised and load shedding can be significantly reduced. It has to date installed 430 solar panels in 28 locations.

As an advocate for the growth and support of small businesses, Tabi also explains how they collaborate with SMME’s to install energy solutions.

“Our company is anchored in the communities where we do business because we believe in collaboration among small black-owned businesses. For example, during the pandemic we worked with three businesses with different profiles from East Rand, Orange Farm and Pretoria to assist with our installations. We are looking to see the progress of these businesses as time goes by.”
