Citizen Leader Lab, a Non-Profit organisation committed to leadership development in the public and private sectors, is excited to announce that it will host its Annual Celebration on 28 November amid the natural beauty of the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens in Cape Town. This event will highlight a year of significant impact and growth at Citizen Leader Lab, and will celebrate the enduring partnerships that have been instrumental to the organisation’s ongoing success.
Marketing and Communications Manager, Dorcas Dube, said: ‘’As we reflect on a year of collective impact and achievement, we look forward to celebrating the success of our long-standing School Leadership Forum and the partner organisations and individuals that have made it all possible. These include the School Leadership Forum’s generous sponsor, MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet, literacy organisation WordWorks, The Instructional Leadership Institute, UNISA and life coach, author and motivational speaker, Renee Lighton.
We also look forward to a keynote address delivered by a representative from the Western Cape Education Department, and a presentation from our avid funder, Capitec Bank. Last but not least, we will celebrate our outstanding alumni, the true champions of our work, who continue to make an impact in their communities and beyond.’’
In 2023, Citizen Leader Lab proudly rebranded to emphasise its mission of developing citizen leaders who drive positive change in their communities and society. With a focus on the future, the Non-Profit has successfully introduced new programmes and revitalised its renowned initiatives. Participants from both public and private sectors have continued to benefit from Citizen Leader Lab’s innovative leadership methodology.
