THE ANNUAL CGISA/JSE INTEGRATED REPORTING AWARDS GO DIGITAL

For over 20 years The Chartered Governance Institute of Southern Africa (CGISA) has partnered with the JSE in hosting the Integrated Reporting Awards – one of the most notable award ceremonies of its kind available to the Southern African business fraternity. This year, considering the current situation, the Awards will be held virtually at 10h00 on the 25th of November 2020.

While the Awards will take place online, the format will remain similar, with a keynote address by Colin Coleman, former head of Goldman Sachs, Sub-Saharan Africa. The CEO of the JSE, Leila Fourie and the president of CGISA, Karen Robinson will also be in attendance. David Kau will keep guests entertained.

“Integrated reporting provides a clearer perspective of a company’s business performance, prospects, and impact on stakeholders. As more and more companies realise that their integrated report is an important communication tool to key stakeholders, the interest in these Awards grow” says Stephen Sadie of CGISA.

The Awards aim to encourage solid financial and non-financial reporting and full disclosure of information to all stakeholders of the Southern African business fraternity. The Awards allow organisations to be measured against their peers and offer the opportunity to develop and instill sound reporting practice.
