Susan Abro of Susan Abro Attorney has been nominated for the Absa Jewish Achiever Awards 2024, in the Europcar Women in Leadership category. This category honours the leadership, success, and overall contribution of distinctive Jewish women in business or in the broader South African community.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Absa Jewish Achiever Awards, organised by the South African Jewish Report. This prestigious event celebrates excellence in business, community service, entrepreneurship, arts, culture, and humanitarian efforts within the South African Jewish community.
The awards recognise individuals across several categories, including: Absa Business Leadership Award, Entrepreneur Award, Absa Professional Excellence Award, Europcar Women in Leadership Award, and the Rising Star Award.

While public votes provide guidance, the ultimate selection of winners is determined by a panel of independent business people, financial journalists, stockbrokers, and sponsor representatives. The results are all audited by BDO South Africa.
The winners will be announced at an awards banquet at the Sandton Convention Centre on the 17th of November 2024.
