Lesley Waterkeyn, Group CEO at CWDi, has been announced as one of the finalists for the 16th annual Standard Bank Top Women Awards.  This is one of South Africa’s most prestigious gender-empowerment events that recognises those organisations and individuals whose efforts are uplifting women in business and society in general.  The Standard Bank Top Women Awards ceremony will take place on 15th August in Johannesburg.  Winners will be announced at a gala dinner on the evening attended by business and government leaders, VIPs and members of the media.

As the Group CEO of a 100 % woman-owned company, Waterkeyn has shown a consistent commitment to driving gender parity by focusing on providing opportunities for women in the workplace.  Waterkeyn is a natural rainmaker whose generous and infectious entrepreneurial spirit uplifts and inspires others to do more than they imagined possible.  A lifelong learner and active member of the world’s largest peer-to-peer entrepreneurial network, Entrepreneurs’ Organisation (EO), Lesley is passionate about unlocking the potential of South Africa’s young people.

“What an honour to be selected as a finalist for the Standard Bank Top Women Awards as well as to be recognised in the Businesswoman of the year category,” says Waterkeyn!
