Coatings For Africa opened today at 10:00 am at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa, marking the start of a three-day exhibition showcasing the latest innovations, equipment and raw materials for the coatings industry. Held in association with the South African Paint Manufacturers Association (SAPMA), the event runs from 24-26 June, and remains the largest, most influential gathering for the coatings industry in Southern Africa.
This year’s edition features more than 150 exhibitors from across the globe, including Synthetic Polymers, Rolfes Chemicals, Gapuma, BAMR, Omya Idwala, Sudarshan Chemicals, AECI Specialty Chemicals, ORCHEM (REDA Chemicals), IMCD, Delta Colours, Victoria International and Bodo Möller Chemie, amongst many others, showcasing their latest products and solutions, and offering attendees with opportunities to network and source a wide range of offerings under one roof.

In addition to valuable networking opportunities, attendees will be able to enhance their industry knowledge at ChemTalks (formerly the Business Presentations Hub), taking place during the first two days of the show (24–25 June). Featuring more than 16 speakers over two days, ChemTalks will showcase the latest products and developments from leading brands, including Orr & Boss, Evonik, Wacker Chemicals, Synthomer, Sibelco, BASF, Nouryon and many others.
The event will remain open until Friday, 26 June 2026, and attendees are encouraged to visit the show at the Sandton Convention Centre. Opening hours are 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Day 1 (24 June) and Day 2 (25 June), and 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on Day 3 (26 June).

Entry is restricted to trade and industry professionals. Visitors under the age of 18 will not be permitted access to the exhibition halls.
