Bloemfontein – Africa Check published a report which questions the pre-election claims being made on Twitter by the DA.
The report investigates the DA’s claims relating to its performance in the Western Cape, the only province in the country that is not held by the ANC. It evaluates a number of key claims made by the party on the social network using the hashtag #DADelivers.
According to their website Africa Check is a non-partisan fact-checking website, based in African journalism schools, using journalistic skills and crowd-sourced info, to hold leaders to account.
