Harare potholes: SA firm strikes deal

HARARE – Harare officials have reportedly signed a deal with South African firm Neo Capital to repair the potholes in the council. The official The Herald newspaper says the company will have to inject about $400 million and the joint-venture will run for 30 years. Harare’s potholes were in the news only a week ago with some reports claiming urgent repairs had to be done on some roads ahead of President Robert Mugabe’s daughter Bona’s wedding.
