Provincial Serious and Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating a triple murder after the bodies of three men were discovered in the Green Park informal settlement on Monday morning, 11 May 2026.
Police responded to a complaint at approximately 11:00 and found the victims lying close to one another in front of a shack in the area.
The deceased have been identified as men aged 21, 23, and 32. They sustained multiple injuries consistent with assault and stab wounds.
According to information gathered at the scene, residents reported hearing shouting during the early hours of the morning. The bodies were only discovered later.
The motive for the attack remains unknown. No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
