Two suspects were arrested on Friday, 17 April 2026, for possession of suspected stolen livestock.
The suspects, a 20-year-old male and a 40-year-old female, were taken into custody following an operation based on information received by Crime Intelligence members.
Police intercepted and searched a silver Hyundai vehicle in which the suspects were traveling. During the search, officers discovered four live goats inside the vehicle.
Both suspects were arrested at the scene. They are expected to appear before the Lichtenburg Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 20 April 2026.
Police investigations are ongoing to determine whether the suspects may be linked to other stock theft cases in the area.
