Kopanong and Parkweg police are searching for 32-year-old Lloyd Mcdonald Siswe Jacobs, wanted for rape and conspiracy to commit murder.
A warrant for his arrest was issued by the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court.
The search follows an incident on 11 May 2025 at approximately 14:00 at Muirfield Flats, North End Street, Navalsig. A 35-year-old victim reported meeting a man known as “Shane Carson” on Facebook. During their first date at his residence, she was allegedly given juice, felt disoriented, and was then raped in a bathroom. She escaped when allowed outside for air.
Investigations indicate Jacobs uses Facebook under false identities to target victims. He is also a suspect in a separate conspiracy to commit murder case under investigation by Parkweg SAPS.
