The Evander Regional Court has sentenced 40-year-old Xolani Josiah Mayisela to life imprisonment for rape. The sentence was handed down on Wednesday, 21 January 2026.
The court found that Mayisela raped a 55-year-old woman in Kinross in December 2021. The victim was known to him as an ex-male friend.
