Thursday, 18 December 2025, the Tactical Response Team arrested a man for the illegal possession of firearms in the OR Tambo District.
The operation, which took place at Nomcamba locality within the Ezinduneni Administrative Area, resulted in the arrest of a male suspect. He was found to be in possession of illegal firearms including two homemade shotguns.
The suspect was taken into custody and is expected to be charged under the Firearms Control Act. The seizure removes potentially dangerous, unlicensed weapons from circulation in the community.
