A man, believed to be in his 30s, was killed on 12 June 2017 when he was shot during an apparent robbery outside a shop on Main Road in Seaview, KwaZulu-Natal.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found local authorities already in attendance.
Upon arrival, paramedics found the man lying motionless inside the shop.
The man was assessed by ER24 paramedics and found to have sustained a fatal gunshot wound to his chest and showed no signs of life. Unfortunately, nothing could be done for the man and he was declared dead on the scene.
It is believed that the man had been approached by the gunmen as he had been walking into the store.
Local authorities will be investigating this matter further.
