In celebration of World Animal Day, Mars pet care, in collaboration with Pick n Pay asap! customers have supported local animal shelters with pet food donations.
A total of R50 000 worth of pet food was collected ensuring that the Domestic Animals Rescue Group (DARG) and Fallen Angels Animal Sanctuary each received equal donations.
The donations were delivered to each animal charity this week. “Caring for our communities includes our much-loved animal shelters that are close to our hearts, and we’re proud to make a meaningful difference to our furry friends,” said Deirdre Mullins, National CSI Manager at Pick n Pay.
