Three suspected kidnappers have been shot and killed during a confrontation with Gauteng police in Parktown earlier today.
Preliminary reports indicate that the suspects were allegedly involved in the kidnapping of a Chinese national in June 2025 and recently attempted to kidnap another businessman in Gauteng. Information further suggests that the suspects were en route to commit a robbery when SAPS members intercepted them.
Major General Kekana is currently on the scene as police continue with investigations.
