One person has been killed and another left with serious injuries following a drive-by shooting that occurred on Argyle Road between Umgeni Road and NMR, on Tuesday morning, 21 October 2025.
KZNVIP Medics, together with multiple other emergency services, responded swiftly to the scene. It is believed that a silver vehicle, make and model unconfirmed, with approximately 4 occupants, opened fire on a light motor vehicle before speeding off from the scene.
The motive behind the incident remains unclear at this stage and investigations are currently underway to establish the circumstances leading up to the shooting.
The roadway will remain closed for an extended period as SAPS conducts a detailed investigation.
All emergency services were in attendance.
