Success in technology isn’t about following a set path—it’s about making intentional choices and staying focused through change. Helene Kidary, Vice President of Channel Sales at OnSIP, has built her career through a combination of strategic thinking, adaptability, and a deep commitment to execution. Her leadership reflects not just experience, but a steady drive to turn complexity into progress that yielded proven results.

Raised with a strong sense of responsibility and curiosity, Helene cultivated an early interest for applying technology to real-world problems. But it wasn’t until she entered the fast-paced world of startups that she truly found her stride. Her education provided the base. Her professional experiences supplied the rest.

One defining moment came just out of college when Helene applied for the CEO position at the Berkeley chapter of the Sierra Club. Her resume was thin, her experience limited, but her belief in her capability was absolute. When she didn’t get the job, it was a shock. “It wasn’t arrogance—I simply believed that no one could bring more passion or commitment to the role than I could.” Yet, instead of discouraging her, the rejection clarified her purpose; she was determined to close every skill gap with intention.

With more than 25 years in telecom and technology, Helene has now built a reputation for transforming complex challenges into structured, scalable systems. Her background spans startups and high-growth ventures across six technology firms. At every turn, she has exceeded revenue goals and driven measurable business outcomes. Her approach is rooted in both operational rigor and long-term vision. These qualities have made her a sought-after leader in times of transition and growth.

Prior to OnSIP, she led high-impact initiatives across several companies, restructuring teams, designing competitive go-to-market strategies, and overseeing operational expansion. At OnSIP, her work has been especially transformative. She introduced scalable processes that made partner onboarding more efficient and created systems to drive adoption and accountability. Her ability to guide initiatives from blueprint to execution is a hallmark of her leadership.

Helene joined OnSIP in January 2016. At the time, revenue for the Channel Division accounted for less than 20 percent of the company’s overall business and therein saw opportunity. Within months, she began building the foundation for what would become one of OnSIP’s most powerful growth engines. Her leadership helped shape the Channel’s partner program into a high-performing, strategically aligned initiative that now plays a central role in the company’s go-to-market strategy.

Helene’s style reflects clarity and structure without rigidity. She believes results are driven not by strategy alone but by people who are equipped to carry it through. At OnSIP, this has meant building frameworks that support growth without losing sight of culture. Her systems don’t just scale—they sustain.

The company itself is built on a strong foundation. OnSIP was founded in 2004 with a vision to redefine business communications through cloud-native technologies. It emerged as an early leader in SIP and WebRTC, offering a platform that addressed the specific needs of small and mid-sized businesses. Over time, it has grown into a trusted solution for industries ranging from education and healthcare to real estate and manufacturing.

What sets OnSIP apart is the ownership of its patented communications stack. This allows for seamless deployment, simplified infrastructure, and exceptional uptime. Customers benefit from cost-effective, scalable solutions without the need for complex hardware or third-party integrations. The company’s focus on user control, flexibility, and expert support continues to define its role in the market.

Helene’s impact is not limited to sales. She has shaped the company’s partner relationships, internal systems, and external positioning. Her focus having always been on partner enablement—building the resources, training, and support infrastructure, has allowed OnSIP’s technology partners to scale effectively with lasting effect.

To her, partners are not an accessory to growth. They are central to it. “System integrators and technology partners are a multiplier”, she says. “By giving them the right tools and support, we create a sustainable model that benefits everyone”.

Helene’s contributions have been recognized across the industry. She served for four years with the Alliance of Channel Women, holding roles that ranged from Board Member to Chair of the Membership Committee. Her individual honors include awards from Chorus Communications, Sprint, and MCI-WorldCom.

In collaboration with the Information Technology Disaster Resource Center, OnSIP has provided critical communications support during natural disasters, including Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Maria, and Hurricane Florence. Whether restoring connectivity in shelters or supporting recovery teams on the ground, the company’s work reflected a deep commitment to community impact, one that mirrors Helene’s own values.

Today, her focus remains on strategic partner development and operational efficiency, building adaptable, replicable systems that enable sustainable growth with long-term impact.

Helene Kidary’s story is not one of overnight success. It is the story of consistent, values-driven leadership. One built on resilience, clarity, and a deep belief in people as the drivers of progress. “Coaching others, developing talent, and creating a culture of credibility and innovation have been some of the most rewarding aspects of my work. What ties it all together is a balance of hard and soft skills, intuitive and analytical thinking, and a commitment to doing things with integrity.”

In many ways, her background and career reflect the same principle she was raised with; create work with substance, lead with intention and uplift others along the way – “provided the impact is both meaningful and enduring.”
