Empire Protection Service, was alerted by members of Cartrack for a hijacked VW Crafter Bus (Brown/ White) hijacked by 3 suspects armed with a knife, who also took the driver hostage in the Blackburn area of Durban in KZN.
Members were dispatched and recovered the vehicle, together with Cartrack and members of the private security industry at a fuel station in the vicinity of the R614 of Tongaat in KZN after a lengthy chase.
This recovery was made possible through team work with recovery agents from Cartrack and members of Private Security.
The vehicle was handed over to the South African Police Service and transported back to Verulam SAPS for further investigation together with all 3 suspects.
