A Benoni father has been handed a life sentence by the Benoni Regional Court for sexually assaulting his three children, aged between three and thirteen. The conviction comes nearly four years after the children’s mother reported the rape case to the SAPS Benoni on 4 August 2021.
According to court proceedings, the accused repeatedly touched and rubbed the children’s private parts, as well as inserted his fingers into them. The abuse occurred over an extended period, leaving the young victims traumatized.
On 19 May 2025, the court found the father guilty on multiple charges, including rape, sexual assault, compelling or causing a minor to witness self-masturbation, and exposing genital organs. The severity of the crimes led to the maximum penalty—life imprisonment.
