Well done to all role players, including the Fidelity Business Intelligence Centre (FBIC), Johannesburg K9 SAPS, and other members on the arrest of two suspects related to robberies. On 25 April 2025, intelligence was received regarding a blue/purple Toyota Corolla involved in a street robbery targeting school children. During the incident, the suspects assaulted the victims and stole their mobile phones.
Following thorough monitoring and data analysis, the suspect vehicle was identified as operating in the Johannesburg area on 14 May. Relevant operational units were alerted, and a coordinated search was initiated. As a result of this collaborative effort, the vehicle was successfully intercepted and pulled over by authorities.
Two suspects were apprehended, 1x 9mm firearm, and numerous electronic devices and house-breaking implements were recovered. Thank you to all involved and for your daily efforts in the fight against crime.
