A woman was spotted behaving suspiciously with a new born baby. When Officers stopped her, it was established that the child in her possession was Baby Sindane. The woman was placed under arrest and has to be removed from the area after a mob threatened to kill her she was detained at FCS SAPS Cato Manor & positively identified by the mother as the woman that had kidnapped her baby.
When Reaction Officers interviewed the woman, she confirmed that she had kidnapped the child after she suffered a miscarriage on April 24, 2025. She then met Bongiwe Sindane at a local clinic and hatched a plan to kidnap her baby so her boyfriend would not dump her. After the kidnapping, she visited her boyfriend in Chesterville – KZN and convinced him that it was his child.
