Citizen Leader Lab is proud to partner once again with Deloitte Africa to bring school leaders the next instalment of its Financial Management Series — this time with a focus on fundraising.
Following a strong start in 2024, this upcoming session promises to build on that momentum with grounded, practical support for school principals and their deputies, School Management Teams, School Governing Bodies, teachers and bursars.
Whether attendees want to build on existing fundraising efforts or are just starting out, this session will offer clear strategies, practical approaches to fundraising that can be applied right away, tools to help turn ideas into viable, fundable plans and a space to connect with fellow leaders who understand the day-to-day realities of leading a school.
The in-person session is set to take place on Thursday, 15 May 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Deloitte Midrand, Johannesburg.
Marketing and Communications Manager of Citizen Leader Lab, Dorcas Dube, said: “Too often, great ideas in our schools remain just that — ideas — because of limited resources. Imagine a school where those ideas and projects are brought to life through a clear, strategic fundraising plan. This session is about equipping school leaders with the skills and confidence to pursue new opportunities, strengthen their school communities and lead with vision. Our continued collaboration with Deloitte Africa reflects a shared commitment to building the kind of leadership that drives sustainable change in education,” said Dube.
