Just after 5am this morning ALS Paramedics responded to a shooting incident on Turfwood Place in Havenside Chatsworth, South of Durban.
Initial reports were that multiple people had been shot in an attempted home invasion. Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that one person a male believed to be in his twenties had been rushed privately to Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds, unfortunately he passed away before he could arrive at Hospital due to injuries sustained.
The man’s parents who were also present when the incident occurred were severely traumatized and suffered medical conditions as a result of the incident, they were stabilized on the scene by ALS Paramedics before being transported to a nearby Hospital for the further care that they required.
At this stage the events leading up to the shooting is unknown however SAPS were in attendance and will be investigating further….
