KZNVIP Response Units who were passing by noticed the vehicle crashed against the barriers with multiple bullet holes. Immediately they contacted Saps as 1 person was unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds in the driver seat.
2 Saps vehicles stopped at the scene but unfortunately left as it was not their area. Circumstances leading up to the shooting cannot be confirmed at this time.
Saps 10111 has been notified again of the incident and awaits the necessary services to attend.
The deceased is an African male, It’s believed that as the vehicle stopped at the intersection, a male wearing black ran to the side of the vehicle and opened fire. A female passenger managed to flee from the vehicle and cannot be located….
