A five-year-old boy set a house alight while playing with matches in Waterloo – KZN.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to Lily Road after residents reported a wood and iron structure engulfed in flames.
Reaction Officers were immediately dispatched and arrived on the scene with the Ethekwini Fire & Rescue Services.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze, but the structure was completely destroyed.
It was established that the minor child was playing with matches and accidentally set the house on fire.
No injuries were reported.
