As part of ensuring safety this Festive Season in the Mpumalanga Province, Deputy Minister of Police, Mr Cassel Mathale led a multi-disciplinary operation in Pienaar, in the City of Mbombela.
The operation comprised of a roadblock, stop and search, tracing of wanted crime suspects and visits to liquor outlets, taverns and foreign owned shops and to monitor compliance.
The Deputy Minister was accompanied by National and Provincial SAPS and Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison leadership.
Yesterday’s operation is one of many operations that the province is conducting this Festive Season to ensure the safety of communities and those who will be visiting Mpumalanga as tourists….
