A 40-year-old man was shot three times by an off-duty Policeman in Mahlabatini – KZN.
At approximately 11:23, a silver Toyota Corolla arrived at Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) HQ with the injured male in the rear seat.
The unemployed truck driver was bleeding extensively from gunshot wounds to his right arm, chest and left hand.
His brother informed Reaction Officers that his sibling arrived in Mahlabatini – KZN from Ndwedwe – KZN to visit the SAPS official.
The man further alleged that the off-duty Policeman was intoxicated and shot his brother without warning.
He allegedly used his state-issued pistol in the shooting.
The suspect thereafter fled.
RUSA Paramedics stabilised the injured male before transporting him to a medical facility in a serious but stable condition….
