A man was discovered deceased in the passenger seat of a vehicle on Todd Street in the Verulam CBD – KZN.
A member of the public contacted the Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Operations Centre requesting assistance for the male.
Reaction Officers were immediately dispatched and on arrival, located a man believed to be in his thirties, slumped in the front passenger seat of a blue Toyota Etios sedan.
He sustained a gunshot wound to his head. The front and rear windscreens were shot. The vehicle keys were still in the ignition. Witnesses informed Officers that they noticed a man parking the car and casually walking away before they made the discovery. The front of the car is accident damaged.
The identity of the deceased has not been established at this stage.
