On Saterday, 10 December 2016, five people died in an accident that happened between two vehicles on N2 between Tsolo and Qumbu.
All five, three males and two females died instantly on the scene after two vehicles, from Gauteng, with five passengers collided headon with a Toyota Quantum with one person, the driver only who also died at the scene.
The vehicles were towed to Tsolo Police Station for forensic investigation.
