Earlier today a couple had been hijacked in the Overport Area by thre African male suspects all armed, suspects then kept the victims hostage in the trunk of the car whilst threatening them for more valuables.
The suspects then took the victims bank cards and had withdrawn all the money out of their account, the victims were then dropped off on the M25 near Mount Moriah after being kept for more then three hours in the trunk of the vehicle.
The victims went to the nearest point for help and was grateful to shop owners for rendering their assistance in getting help. The Shop owner had contacted Saps and Kzn Vip who rushed to the scene.
The victims had been medically stable but traumatized after this incident and also thankful to still be alive, Moments after members of Phoenix Trio Crime Unit, KZN VIP Protection Unit and a private tracking agent had managed to track the vehicle which had been abandoned in Kwa Mashu near the mens hostile.
Investigations are underway by the relevant authorities.
