Ravensmead police in the Western Cape reacted on a tip-off during a cordon and search operation and arrested a 30 year old for being in possession of an illegal firearm and 8 x rounds of ammunition.
Upon searching the house mandrax tablets and tik (crystal meth) worth approximately R5000.00 and an undisclosed amount of cash were also found, which led to the arrest of a 50 year old suspect.
Both suspects are due in court on Monday.
