Nyanga Police seeks the assistance of the public in the investigation of a case of attempted murder and an inquest docket which was opened after a suspect was shot and killed during a shootout with a man they wanted to rob in Ntlangano Crescent in Nyanga.
Three unidentified men of which one suspect was positively armed, entered the house of the complainant just after he came back from withdrawing cash from a bank in Gugulethu.
One suspect fired shots at the complainant and missed, the complainant retaliated injuring one suspect in the arm and the second one was fatally wounded inside a white Toyota vehicle they were using.
The injured suspect and the third one fled the scene.
