On Friday 8 October 2021, the Hawks’ Durban based Serious Organised Crime Investigation team working together with Crime Intelligence and Durban Metro Drug Team arrested a 43-year-old suspect for dealing in drugs at Bayview area.
Police received information about a suspect who was dealing in drugs in Bayview and proceeded to the area. A covert operation was conducted at the residence.
During the search, crack cocaine, cocaine powder, heroin capsules and mandrax tablets with the street value of approximately R11 220-00 were recovered.
The suspect was placed under arrest and charged for dealing in drugs.
He is expected to appear in the Chatsworth Magistrate’s Court.
