A 39-year-old woman is expected to appear before the Mkhuhlu Magistrate’s Court on 3 May 2021, for an allegation of murder of her husband.
This incident happened on Saturday, May 2021, at Goromani Trust, near Hazyview.
It is alleged that police received information of a man who was stabbed by his wife and immediately responded to the scene. On their arrival, they found the victim, a 42-year-old man with injuries and lying unconscious bleeding profusely. Emergency Services personnel were summoned to the scene, unfortunately the man was certified dead and suspect was arrested hence her court appearance.
The Acting Provincial Commissioner of the police in Mpumalanga, Major General Thulani Phahla has strongly condemned the incident and urged members of the community not to resort to acts of violence in resolving issues but rather seek professional help whenever they face challenges in their relationships.
