A joint operation was conducted on 18 March 2021 following information that was received about a suspect who was cultivating and dealing in dagga. A tactical operation was conducted on Doon Road in Bluff where the cultivating equipment was found.
The team also found the suspect in possession of dagga and cash of R4 000-00. The total street value of the recovered dagga is R15 000-00. A 21-year-old suspect was placed under arrest for dealing in dagga.
He is appearing before the Durban Magistrates’ Court.
The Acting Provincial Commissioner for KwaZulu-Natal, Major General Thulani Gonya commended the team for the arrest of the suspect.
