A man in his twenties was found stabbed to death in a pathway in Eastbury, Phoenix in Kwazulu Natal on Saturday morning 27 February 2021.
The discovery was made by his colleagues who went in search of him after he failed to arrive at work.
They contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) for assistance at approximately 07:56 after they located their co-worker in a pathway near a railway line between Clayfield and Eastbury.
He was in a prone position and sustained three stab wounds to his back. RUSA Members were dispatched to the scene and on arrival Paramedics examined the victim. He showed no signs of life and was declared deceased.
The motive for the murder could not be immediately established.
