A farm murder took place on on Monday, 21 December 2020, at 15:30, in Ocean View, near Rocky Bay, South of Scottburgh in the KwaZulu Natal province of South Africa. A woman who was alone at home was overpowered by four armed attackers who demanded cash and firearms. She was taken upstairs by one of the attackers while the other three began ransacking the home.
The woman then heard her boyfriend’s vehicle arrive and she heard gunshots. Out of fear she jumped out of one of the windows and ran towards the road for help.
The police who responded to the attack found her 70-year boyfriend dead in the kitchen with gunshot wounds.
Two firearms, a laptop and cellular phones were robbed by the the attackers. Scottburgh SAPS is investigating a case of murder and house robbery. There have been no arrests.
