Free State police are on the hunt for three suspects in connection with the murder of a 70-year-old man on Grootwage Farm outside Petrus Steyn in the Free State.
According to police spokesperson Sergeant Mmako Mophiring, the victim, Jan de Kok was found beaten to death on his farm.
The suspects took off in the victim’s white Ford Ranger double cab which was later found abandoned in Vereeniging in Gauteng. The suspects are also believed to have stolen firearms and cellphones belonging to the deceased.
A case of murder is being investigated…
