The Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Limpopo Lieutenant General Nneke Ledwaba has send a stern warning to all the people who are still perpetrating any form of criminality including the violent crimes against children in some parts of this Province.

This strong worded message, follows the recent incident where a three year old boy was found murdered on 7 December 2018, during the day and his body dumped in the bushes next to Koting Village in the Marble Hall Policing area outside Groblersdal.

It is alleged that a passer by made this gruesome discovery and alerted the police who reacted swiftly to the scene of crime. Upon arrival, the deceased was found lying in a pool of blood and also stones lying next to his body which is suspected to be the weapon used during the commission of this heinous act.

The motive behind this brutal incident is not clear at this stage but the ongoing Police investigations will tell.

The Police in this Province are determined to robustly deal with all criminality affecting our children. Those who choose to close their ears to our continuous warning messages, will be hunted down until we take them to where they belong, concluded General Ledwaba.

The suspects in this matter are still unknown and there is no arrest yet.
