The Pampierstad SAPS are investigating a case of possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition. On 22 August 2018 at about 20:00 the Pampierstad, Kgomotso and Boetsap SAPS members followed up on information of persons in possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition.
The police stopped and searched a maroon Nissan bakkie and found a pistol and some ammunition. Two male suspects aged 35 and 42 years old were arrested.
Police are also profiling the suspects as they might be linked to a business robbery that allegedly took place in Pampierstad, earlier that day.
The Maroon Nissan bakkie was also confiscated by the Police as it was allegedly utilised in the commission of a crime.
The investigations continue.
