Johannesburg – Outa on Monday applauded taxi group Santaco’s call to boycott electronic tolling in Gauteng.
“Clearly evident is their frustration at not being granted the promised free passage on the highways,” Opposition to Urban Tolling Alliance (Outa) chairman Wayne Duvenage said in a statement.
“This is just another of many examples pointing to the onerous administration conditions of e-tolling, which adds to the unworkability of this irrational plan.”
He said the call by the SA National Taxi Council last week was the best approach to take.
