Police arrested six suspects in a planned attack on a cash in transit vehicle.
The incident in the Marble Hall area occurred after police were notified of suspicious elements watching the roads, the suspects were found next to the road where they were waiting to ambush a cash in transit vehicle.
One of the suspects fiancé was arrested where she waited in a parked vehicle, which apparently would be the getaway vehicle. She was identified as a police constable.
The arrested suspects police are cash in transit robbers who are on bail for other attacks!
Meanwhile, security guards have requested that they may shoot attackers dead when attacked. Robbery is a Schedule 1 offense that states that you can defend yourself.
