Following information on the hijacking of a truck that took place over the weekend o4 March 2018, joint collaboration and swift action by the Mount Frere Visible Policing and Detectives members led to the arrest of five male suspects.
Since the report of the incident the team followed up on information received. Information received led the team to Cofimvaba where the truck was recovered and 262 gas cylinders valued at R152 000 were recovered on a business premises.
The suspects aged between 30 and 40 faces a charge of possession of suspected stolen cylinder and will appear in the Cofimvaba Magistrate Court soon.
