Farmer J R Buhrman found murdered on farm De Emigratie, Ermelo: March 31 2014 – A 77-year-old farmer of the farm ‘De Emigratie’ near Ermelo was found murdered on the floor of his homestead.
Maroela Media quoted SAPS captain Carla Prinsloo as saying that ‘information is scanty and the investigation is still in a sensitive stage’.
“We can however confirm at this stage that the farmer’s body was found by an acquaintance, that the ‘attacker’ must have gained access to the homestead through the sliding door, and that they do not yet know exactly what caused the man’s death….
