In Mankweng outside Polokwane, three suspects aged between 24 and 36 years were arrested for burglary and possession of illegal firearms, ammunition and suspected stolen properties which they committed in the Mankweng, Polokwane and Westernburg Policing areas.
During these arrests, the following items were recovered: 1x hunting rifle with serial number filed off, 1x 9mm pistol with serial number filed off, 120 x 9mm live ammunition, 33 x 303 live ammunition, 50 x 9mm live ammunition, 1 x 9mm magazine, 4 x gold wrist watches, 02 pairs of takkies, 1 x Toyota Corolla.
Some of the above mentioned items were stolen during a burglary incident which occurred at a in Polokwane.
The arrested suspects will appear before the Magistrate Court soon.
The Police investigations are still continuing.
