On 12 December 2017, at about 9:00 the Aliwal North Stock Theft Unit followed up positive information and recovered two heifers to the value of R12 000-00 at the Lady Grey communal grounds.
A 50 year old suspect was arrested.
The demand for stock for domestic purposes usually increases during the festive season and there is an increase in stock theft.
The Cluster Commander Brig Xakavu thanked the community for the positive information and the members for the good arrest.
